about nelson

i graduated with honours from the university of the philippines college of fine arts, and worked extensively in advertising, graphic design, publishing, and web development for more than ten years. i mounted three photography exhibits in manila in 2003.

my first children's book, a for adobo, was published in 2010.

i shoot with natural and ambient light as well as flash strobes in studio. i use nikon slr cameras, both film and digital, with telephoto 18mm to 200mm lens, prime 50mm lens, and macro close-up filters.
